From the Manufacturer - About Fun World: Our story begins in 1959 when Sam Rosenberg, who had experienced a few failed start-ups earlier in his adulthood, decided to establish his own successful business before retirement. In the 1950s, he had found great success as a traveling salesman of general merchandise. At the young age of 59, he founded the S. Rosenberg Christmas Co., importing Christmas and Easter novelties and dolls from Japan.

Fun World's operations initially involved working with factories in Japan, before expanding to Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. After President Nixon opened China in 1973, it quickly became the main source of supply. Currently, Fun World's factories are located in the USA, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Spain, and India.

In 1981, the third generation joined the company. Alan Geller's leadership helped drive a real jump-start in Fun World's Halloween business, earning him the title of "Halloween Guru." During this period, Geller's creation of the GHOST FACE mask and costume became part of Hollywood history.
