About the Manufacturer: The story of the company behind this product begins in 1959 when Sam Rosenberg wanted to start his own successful business before retirement. After a few failed start-ups earlier in his adulthood, he experienced great success as a traveling salesman of general merchandise in the 1950s. At the age of 59, he founded the S. Rosenberg Christmas Company, importing Christmas and Easter novelties and dolls from Japan.
In 1963, Sam's son-in-law, Stanley Geller, purchased the business and renamed it Funworld, Easter Unlimited. Stanley traveled to Japan by propeller plane on buying trips, developing strong relationships with factories there. He then sold the goods by traveling the roads of the USA in a station wagon filled with samples, going from Minneapolis to Miami, Boston to Bentonville, New York to New Orleans, and everywhere in between. It was a tough but good life, and the business continued to grow with the help of many people.
In 1981, the third generation joined the company. Alan Geller, Stanley's son, gave Funworld a real jump start in the Halloween business, leading the company during a period of significant growth in that market.
